Your protection begins with the outer GORE-TEX layer — engineered it to be soft and quiet to give you greater flexibility. It's made of a GORE-TEX membrane sandwiched between a flame-resistant Nomex fabric and a Nomex fabric knit backer. Because the membrane is highly breathable, it minimizes your risk of heat stress. So you can keep up your activity longer as you go from warmer ground conditions to colder flying environments.
