Ordered this about a month ago with just the 14 inch front. Enjoy the array of backs and so far have found it useful for getting "that nice fit" that can vary oh so slightly with climate change, different types/brands of paintballs, etc. Still waiting on my 16in. and 12 in. though…Looking forward to receiving those so I can write a full on comparison. All in all…I think this is a steal and was a great buy. Thanks for your service and help guys
I played with this barrel kit for the first time this past Sunday. It is a very solid barrel kit and well worth the money. When I first bought the paintballs that I used during play fit in the .688 barrel back but before I began play they fit into the .685 barrel back. It is nice to have that option to specifically match the paintball to the barrel back. I was using some below average paintballs, economic paintballs that had some minor dimples and were not perfectly rounded, but the barrel kit allowed for much improved accuracy for these paintballs then the stock barrel allows. The fit and finish on this kit was outstanding and flawless. I play a lot of woods ball and some scratches allowed the finish to come off the barrel, but that is expected when you play in woods, prickers and other things out in mother nature. Plus, nothing a black sharpie can't fix. I had a few breaks and the barrel didn't seem to skip a beat. It shot right through it and kept pumping out paintballs. I did notice that the barrel back is very difficult to remove from the tip after play. I do use CO2 so that might part of the reason and doubt there would be an issue if compressed air was used. Overall a great barrel kit for the money. It will increase the accuracy of your paintball flight and allows you to adjust to practically any paintball size with the barrel backs.
