I bought these to complete the set for my son. The material is superior to wear in hot and humid conditions as it wicks better then cotton and breathes instantly. It's light despite being long sleeved.
We got him one size too large on purpose to allow him to wear his body armor underneath without restriction. Despite the reinforced elbows I would hesitate to dive into unknown surfaces in this shirt as the material is not padded. The reinforcement is adequate for my son as he plays a mobile game where the camo gives him first shot from ambush in sufficient comfort followed by "Evade and Fade".
Overall it's light, breathes better then cotton, has the right camo and just enough reinforcement to aid in setting up a shot.
